The Cerro Verde and Schutzwald organizations have been working with fishermen communities in the Gulf of Guayaquil for more than a decade. With the aim of preserving mangrove ecosystems, these NGOs seek to create sustainable and community development in the Gulf of Guayaquil. The final point of the management plan that they are executing is to encourage the creation of a local community tourism committee.

Together with the local organization of crabs, oysters and fishermen, the Cerrito de los Morreños Mangrove Users Association and all the inhabitants of the place, this conservation tourism circuit is being formed, with full benefits and only for local hosts and guides and the community El Manso helped define concepts and create a marketing strategy based on self-management and self-generation of resources. It is currently the commercial branch of the project through the page you are reading.
These are all-inclusive trips, designed for adventurers who are interested in getting to know the marine tropical ecosystems, the history and culture of their inhabitants, all from the angle of the locals.
